Barry. J. Kaplan is the President of B.J. Kaplan & Associates. He has been providing quality training and classroom learning since 1971 and focuses on the "nuts and bolts" of marketing. A former assistant Professor at the University of Houston and a guest lecturer at Rice University he is currently an adjunct faculty member at the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Institute of the University of Houston Law School. A magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate at SUNY Buffalo he received his Ph.d in 1975.




Tom Clark, Vice President for Research, has an MBA degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and has served as a marketing executive for several Fortune 500 companies. He has been involved in primary market research since 1987 and has coordinated numerous qualitative and quantitative studies for a variety of clients.


Mayte Sera Weitzman, Vice President for Hispanic Marketing, has over sixteen years of experience in both marketing and public relations, both in the agency and corporate sectors. An award winning communications professional, Mayte has a B.A. from the University of Houston and an Executive Community MBA from U.T. at Austin. Proficient in three languages she was honored by the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2002 with the Senior Female Corporate Executive of the Year award. She serves on numerous community boards.
